    huge day! i got 265 and 280 on my BS,then got really greedy and failed at 300. i'm pretty sure i could have gotten 290...should've tried that instead of 300...oh well, still a big lift for me! for SP, i tied my PR at 140 and failed at 145 twice. for DL, it was amazing! i got all 3 attempts at 350, 365 and 380. my total score of 800 was a super stretch goal and i achieved it! completely jazzed up right now. need to work on my shoulder strength for the next CFT.

    pretty bummed with my performance. i let the OHS weight get in my head and was somewhat scared of putting it overhead while so tired. i had 30 reps in sight, just took to many breaks to recover.

    psyched about my performance this time! i busted out the burpees 30 seconds faster and finished all 30 OHS. i had 30 seconds left on the clock when done with 90 reps and put my hands on the rings and all i could do was swing. lol. super pumped about this performance!

    PR! i got 145 really well. next time i do this i'll try 150 and just keep inching my way up....feeling a lot more comfortable with ducking under the weight.

    HUGE day for me! PR'd all over the place. i almost got 230, just couldn't quite get my arms through. so pumped! did some additional hang power clean work after i was done for practice.

    my new power rack is awesome. i can put the bar in the 3 different locations. one of those locations is on the outside. i unrack from there and walk it over to my mats. worked out perfectly!!

    PR'd on this! i got 205 for and 215 for 1rm. 215 was a stretch, but got it up nonetheless. feeling strong, just have no wind capacity right now.

    Well, you've been doing this a lot longer than I have so your core is a lot stronger than mine. I'll have to wear my fashionable knee brace for sure. Jerking is how I dislocated my knee the last time, but that was about 3 years ago and I'm stronger now

    tough workout, but PR'd on the squat snatch! 135lb squat snatch is so easy now! all 6 reps of 150 c&j were done as squat clean thrusters...i attempted 165 squat snatch and was close, but no cigar.

    not rx'd. i didn't do the squat work because i'm doing my squat program. and i got really stubborn trying to get 160lbs on the squat snatch that i had nothing left nor the desire to attempt a max effort c&j. i should have kept to the rule if you miss twice, move on. instead i tried 10 times! 10! AHHHHHH!!!!!!

    kyle inspired me to do some heavy dl...haven't done them in a while. had a really strong performance on this, but i ran out of weight! good problem to have i suppose. i got 390 for 1, twice, and the first rep at 390 was pretty easy...i'm thinking if i had the weight i go over 400. did some pullup work after this was done (on the minute for 8 min). really good heavy strength night....

    not rx'd, but at least i did the movements. i used my bands on the rings to perform band assisted muscle ups on the rings. still extremely tough as you still have to pull yourself up and over the rings to the deep ring dip position. doing 35 of these was rough and ate up a lot of time. 95lb sumo high pulls for 21 reps each round was also extremely tough. very rough wod altogether. and, i am really out of shape. it's been a long time since i've pushed myself through to completion for a tough wod and this felt great. added a video example of what the band assisted ring muscle ups look like....

    That video is really awesome! You just power through them, but the transition into a dip is still ugly and unassisted... which has to be one of the worst parts of the MU. Killer!

    Stupid cold and stupid me. Decided to give this a try.....not sure why. The cold is wreaking havoc in my body. Got through the first 4 sets no problem and then on the 2nd rep of 185 my entire back had a sharp pain shoot up....I still caught the weight and stood up but did not attempt a 3rd rep. Back is very tight and I am laying on a foam roller hoping that helps. Sucky part is 185 was not to bad. Heres hoping my back is ok

    Holy pr! I pr'd 3 times on the back squat and twice each on the sp and dl. Huge night for me. I got 415 on the dl pretty easy...had I known it would be that easy I would have started higher. So pumped about my performance!
