    Couldn't work on the jerk for long due to my shoulder cramping and limited joint room.

    Worked on locking my elbows out before my feet hit the split. Worked at 90 kg. Need more box practice. Faster elbows.

    Worked on the second pull with the boxes. Hands curled under, cheat out, shoulders pinched, arms relaxed, then smash with hips on the jump.

    Power snatched 155. I really need to get under the bar. Still struggling with the concept. Need to relax.

    Practiced jumping up with the bar, shrugging, and then pulling under the bar with vwry fast arms. Worked up to 185# and stayed there.

    Worked on jumping rope and hip flexibility. Jump ropes worked on double unders, running, side to side, front to back, rotation in a circle, criss cross. Low jumps. Tabata for 5 min.

    Worked on abs/core. 1. Pullup rig: stiffen body to straight lines using lats/shoulders to create positive and negative angles of rotation. 2. Lemon squeeze. 3. Lay on back with arms and legs slightly elevated, keeping core tight so that the lower back stayed on the ground. Hold position for as long as possible while partner hit legs, arms to throw off balance. 4. Rolling core workout. Need to get with Triston on what this is called. Good workout though.

    95#, 115#, 135#, 145# working weights. Attempted 165#, but failed. I really need to work on the second lift, the hip thrust. I also need to push under the bar. For some reason I am uneasy with the weight, well...not the weight, but the hand/grip/placement. No reason to worry about the weight,just need to get under. Also, very important: a couple of my lifts were uneven. My feet were pointing one direction, my chest, bar and arms another. Need to video myself and find out what the fuck is happening. Broz offered me to use the box to work on the second pull. I really need to allocate more time to O-lifting to get better.

    Worked on pull. Really getting the feeling. More comfortable with the movements.

    Had a lot of trouble lifting 185# today. Hit my chin in the jerk. Remember to keep split squat front shin perpendicular to the floor. The hips take you lower.

    Next time in the gym, I need to take time to work on my hip thrusts to get the bar up rather than high pulling.

    Standard endurance, worked on the pull, jumped rope, getting a lot better and more natural. Wod: 3 timed 400 bit keeping form. 1st 2:04, 2nd 1:46, 3rd not timed.

    Got a PR at 200#. Was able to split jerk lower today. Need to practice a lower split jerk prior to lift heavy. Need to practice with lighter weight in the split jerk stretching the hips.

    Worked on stretching my hips and ankles at the bottom of the squat. Kept weight at 75# for a long time to work on form and to build core strength at the overhead squat position. Moved up to 95# and did the same. Stayed in the overhead squat position for a longtime prior to coming up. Moved up to 125# and then 135#. Still practicing and maintaining a longer overhead squat position.

    Worked on pose techniques. Need to keep foot and ankle relaxed when at the top of the pull. Overall, improvmenta are being made.

    Worked on flexibility in ankles, and hips. Stretched by staying in the squat position, keeping knees outside the toes, feet as parallel as possible, while placing as much weight as possible on the ankle. Then worked with 95#. Worked on explosivness out of squat and powerful jerk.

    Worked on the pull technique. Lean forward from the heals, not the hip. My form is improving. 5 x 200 at 80% pace. Tried to keep form so I sacrficed the speed.

    Worked on handstand pushups. 3 variations to strengthen the shoulders. 1.) handstand with belly against the wall. 2.) handstand with belly facing out, ab mats piled high so that the pushup is a very short movement (do 3 sets of 20.) 3.) get 20" box, do handstand with feet on the box. Try to maintain an L position.

    Pose training. Worked on the pull and lean. Did death by 100 m for the wod.

    Got 185# today. attempted 195# and 205# but failed. My shoulders really hurt and my arms went numb and tingley after the 195# attempt. Arms got very weak, to the point of a 45# bar being heavy. I think I'm a victim of Bursitis.
