Ran on the track at Claremont Mckenna on Friday in the early evening. Had to run in lane 6. Messed up on my calculation and only ran just over 3 miles so I was short by 150m. I had a hard time figuring out my splits but I do know that my first lap of 439m was in 1:50 and each lap after that was just under 2 mins I think. Didn't go all out on the run just tried to pace it to get between 21-23 mins. Pretty easy and I held my form the entire run. I didn't speed up for the finish. Pretty positive I can nail a 19 minute 5k right now!! I am really feeling good about my running and actually looking forward to it!
