Its official. Workouts longer than 25 minutes have no performance enhancing value (for me). They just suck, mental toughness occurs at 17 minutes when your already tired and hands are ripped. Your VO2 max has already plateaued so there is no use in continuing when the max is only dropping (rapidly).
